We Are Nuts!

Overview

We Are Nuts! is a family owned business run by Jim, Margaret and Tom Burt. For nearly 25 years, they've been buying nuts directly from growers around the world and roasting them on-site at their retail location in St. Paul, Minn. They came to us for a new company website that would feature a new design and an online store where their customers could buy products.

For the design, we chose bright, vibrant colors that complement the company's originial "Nut Guy" logo and capture the Burts' fun, energetic style. All the design elements and imagery showcase the actual nut products, enticing visitors to explore the online store.  A  section for favorite nut recipes completes the warm, personal feel of the website.

For the online store, we built a custom e-commerce system that allows the Burts' customers to assemble their order online, add personalized cards to any item, calculate shipping and make payments directly on the website. The store is organized by product type, so it's easy for customers to search and find the products they're looking for.

What the company likes best is that the shopping cart is fully integrated with their online banking system so they can go to one place to manage both in-store and online purchases.

Even though We Are Nuts! is only open for business three months of the year (October through January), they now have a website that promotes their delicious products year round.
