Here's a full explanation how we build and prepare a website for launch:
This is where your website comes to life! Our development team takes the "blueprint" we created together and builds your new website. After our quality assurance team tests the site to make sure it is working properly, we give you access to the "Beta" site (preview site) which is a fully functional version of your website that allows you to view it before it goes live.
At this stage, the project is in your court. You review the site and let us know if anything needs to be changed. You also update any new site content at this time – don't worry, we show you how to do this using your customized content management system!
Once your website is just the way you want it, we "flip the switch" and make it live. Usually we can do this the day after you give us approval, however, depending on your website's complexity – and your business goals – we may recommend a more strategic plan to ensure you are leveraging the impact of your new product. Allowing extra time is even more important if you have marketing efforts planned to support your site.
We also set you up with Google Analytics so, as soon as a week after your website's launch, you can begin to measure its performance: who's visiting, how long they're staying, what pages they like, etc. If you leverage all the capabilities of your new site, your analytics will become more and more useful.
Because websites are such an organic platform, there will always be opportunity for improvement. That's where we come in – think of us as your built-in development team! Even after your site is built, we will come to you with suggestions for enhancements and continued growth – we are active participants in your website's success!
Excited? You should be! Let us know what project you have in mind.
