On April 1, 2006, the owners of Frontier Web Development took the opportunity that had become an obvious choice for them, in order to realize their goal of creating a full scaled web development firm that allowed small and mid-sized companies to afford the same opportunities and luxuries as larger companies with larger budgets.

Prior to starting Frontier Web Development, the owners worked together doing web development as consultants and sub contractors.  Owner Andrew Steingas was the lead project consultant and technical director at another firm where he quickly gained a reputation as someone who had the creative vision to truly understand the goals of his clients and the resources for making those goals a reality.  During that time, he used an outsourcing model to build solutions for his clients which he helped his clients initiate.  He developed a partnership with one group of developers who shared the passion and vision for doing a project the right way.  That group was run by Vadym Skorupskyy & Roman Hahalyuk.  Vadym traveled to Minnesota to work side by side with Andrew in order to improve the vision of developing projects the right way at an affordable price.

After six months of working side by side and improving processes in the Minnesota office, Vadym returned to Ukraine to perfect the development processes there as well.  Shortly after Vadym returned to Ukraine, he and Andrew realized they were ready to take advantage of a great opportunity to merge with the forward thinking group of developers; thus Frontier Web Development, LLC was born.

With ownership in one place, the business plan has been streamlined to offer more powerful custom solutions with better planning, better development techniques, and better support to all clients while still maintaining reasonable overhead.
